Here is what I like about my stanley cup: It keeps ice frozen for a long time. I think my Hydro Flask is a little bit better at keeping ice frozen (maybe because it doesn’t have a straw to let air in), but the Stanley does a really good job too, and if I put ice in before bed, it’s always still frozen into the next day.
It has a straw. There are straw lids you can get for the Hydro Flask (my son has one), but I hadn’t purcahsed one for myself. I love that the Stanley cup has a straw, because honestly it does make me drink more water, and it makes it easier to drink water while I’m on the treadmill, or lying in bed.
It fits in my cup holders. This one is really important, because when I’m driving or walking on the treadmill, I want to be able to fit my cup in the cup holder.
It’s really pretty. This one is the main reason everyone wants the Stanley cup- because it’s aesthetically pleasing. You can try and justify other reasons, but you know it comes down to what it looks like, and the fact that you feel like “that girl” when you’re carrying it. I won’t lie, that was the main appeal for me.
